Gem & Mineral Camp
Available for ages 5-13
​
Learn what gems are made of, how they form, how they're mined and faceted, how to identify them, and much more! Kids get to keep the gems they mine and call a miner in East Africa! Every topic has activities and interactive, multi-modal, hands-on learning.

Fossils & Archaeology Camp
Available for ages 5-13

Learn about the classifications of fossils, how they're created, the types of soil they're found in, and how they're excavated. Students will practice being paleontologists to solve the mystery of a fossil's life, dig for their fossils, and create a log of their fossils after inspecting under a microscope! Finally, we discover how we learn about past people groups and how they lived through archeology. What will people 500 years from now learn about us?
Camps are 3 sessions of 3 hours each.

Gem Identification Private Session
Available for ages 6-16
$125/hour
2 hour minimum, hours can be scheduled separately

Does your child have a rock and mineral collection? This is their chance to identify every piece with a professional gemologist using scientific tools and a microscope! A log will be provided for students to document each treasure and its identifying information.

Don't have your own collection? A collection of 50 rocks, minerals, and fossils can be provided for $50.
